About Us

Based in Upper Coomera—often referred to as the Kiwi capital of Australia—Bayboy Clothing is a family-run business established in 2011.

Founder Ross (Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Rongomaiwahine) grew up in Waimana in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, later living in Whakatāne before relocating permanently to Australia in 2004. The name Bayboy is a tribute to his roots and upbringing.

In 2011, driven by a longing for home, Ross launched Bayboy Clothing to provide Kiwis living in Australia with authentic Kiwiana apparel, including tees, singlets and Hoodies.

Since its inception, Bayboy Clothing has collaborated with a range of Tā Moko artists across New Zealand and Australia, producing distinctive clothing inspired by their artwork and cultural expression.

All garments are produced through a family-run manufacturing business in Brisbane, where Ross is directly involved in the production process. This hands-on approach ensures consistently high standards, with premium fabrics and inks used throughout.

Orders are dispatched daily, with the ability to replenish stock efficiently. The brand is set to expand into sportswear, with a focus on supplying custom team uniforms for New Zealand-based clubs.

Bayboy Clothing welcomes collaboration opportunities with talented Tā Moko artists and social media influencers who align with the brand. To join us on our journey, please contact bayboyclothing@gmail.com
